Creepers are my friends! Please don't hurt them!
As for those chickens, we don't get along well . . .

At least Terraria has it's own original concepts.

Looking for PC titles only, but I did try out a demo of 3079 and found the production value very poor. I like seeing new indie games from to life and hate to give too much negative feedback, but it was just a terrible experience.

There is also Blockland, and I would say this is more advanced than Roblox by a football field. Blockland can have some interesting gameplay and I can only explain it as an interesting and fun experience. There is some RP'ing but is it a GREAT place to show your skills as a builder. The limits are endless in this game, but some may find that some of the community is immature, but it is not too bad.
Like VioViocity said (Above) 3079 is kind of a complete slap in the face. It has amazing potential, seriously, this game could be the next Minecraft, but the production and the whole setup is very bad at the moment. Maybe updates will come, but for now, it is an indy game that looks like it is staying where it is and not advancing on the market any time soon. Not worth the purchase. (I think I had to buy it, not too sure, it has been a while :L)
Lastly, it is formatted with Block features like Minecraft, but is totally different. This was a game entered in a contest and is actually becoming very popular. The name of this game is SubRosa. The idea of this game is that there are three teams, the Gold (Yellow), the Blue, and the Grey. The Gold has documents, the Blue has the money. They want eachothers. The Grey has nothing, and they want everything. Think of it like a trade of secret documents, and you are meeting with some people to do the trade off. You are going to have people also after the documents (The Grey). There are 4 Minute rounds I think, and this game is surprisingly VERY entertaining!
I hope I helped, I am not sure if you were looking for single player or MMO, so I listed all that I could think of. If you still need more I can do a little research and help out more! Good luck, and feel free to post back if you want me to do some research.

I found this 2d version of minecraft
called MineBlocks. Its a internet game and fun to play.
I found it while it was dinner time with my friends. We had a fun
time playing it and my friend Louie found a AWEsome bug.
You can get about 30 iron pickaxes. Not a clue how he did it lol
