That's tough. You should either watch one of paul's videos on mods, because he goes step by step with every single mod, or you could install it from http://Skydaz.com,
or you could get Winrar or 7 zip.

To install mods from skydaz look up the mod, then open the .exe file, then  right click and extract all, after that open the mod installer file, and click "Install," and you're done! All of the mods on skydaz are auto install. Make sure you close Mincraft before you install mods! SkyDaz also has maps, so PM me if you want help installing those ;) Hope I helped

For some reason, I can't install ComputerCraft. I put it in my mods folder like it said on the forum, but minecraft crashes every time until I delete it.

I have other mods installed, so it's not META-INF.

Do you like this post? Then like it! :D

Without the crash text it's hard to work out what is wrong, but usually it will be a block id conflict with your other mods

Try out MultiMC for the mac (it's also for windows and linux) it will install mods in the jar file for you, so you don't need to do it. It does require the Mono runtime for the mac.

This is a review of MultiMC by Direwolf20

@ Richardfrost Sometimes mods don't cooperate together, so either get mod forge, which still isn't a garentee, or try uninstalling some other mods, and some mods aren't capable with cooperating, so computercraft might be one of thsoe mods
