The defualt IPB favicon.ico is still being used, I don't have a better suggestion, but if you change that so the bookmark stands out, that would be very cool.  It adds a nice finishing touch to a forum.

I'd make one for you, but don't know what you'd like. They follow the .ico format (see wiki or google) which pack different sizes of icon in the same file to be displayed in the URL bar when on the site, or larger version for bookmarks, and even larger ones for site thumbnails in browsers that support those.

Just a suggestion.  The full logo up top wouldn't scale down, maybe just a dark tree block?

Maybe what it could be is the logo without the punch wood or the fine details, just the wood and the pow symbol.

I Didn't get the star, just the block of wood for now.   Add to root directory of web and it will replace the IPB default one.   It is just an image file that can be opened with Irfanview, and only the small size for now unless more detail is desired.

I'd also suggest viewing it in a hex editor to ensure it is only an ico file.  Because saying "trust me" when giving a file to somebody to add to a server is silly.

Do the site owners have a large version of the wood with only the "pow" star behind it to convert?

If you do not trust a stranger, which I understand, upload the image to http://www.favicon.c...=import_request as a standard graphic format, and it will be converted.  

They also support animated icons, though not all browsers will display animated favicon.ico files properly.

I have actually wondered many times what that bookmark meant. I belive it should be wood, maybe with a fist comming to it . Or it should just be a picture of Paul .

Yeah; it should be something like that or a picture of a chicken (Spy) with Xs for eyes that would be great becuase Paul hates chickens from what i know or maybe it could be i mini minecraft logo?

We already had a topic with ideas for favicons and it was locked and trashed. I reckon that the way this forum is hosted, the admins have no means of or are not allowed to change the favicon.

If they can change the header image and add smilies, then changing the favicon.ico shouldn't be any issue.  Simply rename the existing favicon.ico to favicon.ipb.ico and ftp the new one to the www root.
