where do you think herobrine came from. a bug in the coding like the creepers. or a extremely rare mob that only comes after you beat the enderdragon. you tell me where you think herobrine came from.

I think it became a thing when some guy just decided to make up a character representing notch's dead brother so he trolled some people later on it became pretty famous so they added him to the game for a bit. But ofcourse they removed him. I think someone was just trying to get a nice laugh out of it.

Well, he is based off Steve, and he is purely fanfictional. So, maybe someone's skin bugged, I'd think. Maybe even a giant statue that was trolled or the eyes were mistaken. Its really meant to make us ask this question.

This is my story of Herobrine . One day when he was just a regular guy, his brother notch told him to go to this server .there was nobody on. He was mineing when he here's a strage knoise looked around and saw a strange tall man with green eyes and a deep black body.it screamed the second he looked away. He was running from the unknown createure when he though he lost it. He had some flint and steel but no torches. He makes a fire and coughed from the smoke. He tries to look it up in a book but he can't find it.the fire goes out. When he sets it again I hears the noices again. He runs ,
Mining his way up whil it is getting louder and louder . He's at the dirt when then, a faint scream. Well this can also be call the mystirous disk 11 possibly named because enderman are the 11th mob.well that my story. I'm djmaster800 I play minecraft and am a Herobrine hunter.not to kill just to talk to him. The end................or is it?

I think it's funny that people think it's a fake thing, made up by other players...it clearly says in update history, "removed herobrine". Look it up :)

I can understand why a lot of people believe in Herobrine, because sometimes, weird things happen in MC... especially in Alpha,

But Herobrine was *never* added as a real mob in any version of minecraft. Herobrine is just a "creepy-pasta" thing which was posted on a thread in the minecraft forums. It stated how Herobrine had appeared in someone's single-player game, littering the map with various pyramids and tunnels. It is the first media to name him as Herobrine.

The "Removed Herobrine" in the update history is just a troll by Notch/Jeb. He also trolled the player with a in-game message in survival: If a player was killed by an arrow fired from a dispenser, a message used to appear saying "... was shot by Herobrine".

I'm not too crazy about Herobrine, but I like the story and the idea behind him. It would be interesting if Jeb would add him for real, maybe like a boss or something B)

(btw: Info taken from http://www.minecraft.../wiki/Herobrine )

He is meant to be steve except with white eyes. He builds pyramids, takes all the leaves off trees and places redstone torches randomly.

I just use the herobrine mod.
Arsenal's badge - A gun to symbolise our power
Manchester United's badge - a devil to symbolise their superiority
Chelsea's badge - a lion to symbolise their strength
Spur's badge - a duck on a ball...
