I like to go fishing.

Cars: I have a small collection of Pontiacs (1987 and 1984 Fiero, 2007 G5, 2009 G8 GT) and I go to cruise nights / car shows every Friday night during the summer.


Photography: I have a few cameras and I like taking pictures of landscapes and cars (just not people).


Music: I've played guitar for about 15 years. I also go to concerts all the time. Last year I saw easily over 20 artists perform live.


LEGO: I haven't played with LEGOs since I was a kid (it's been 10 years!), but I'm gearing up for an epic city build sometime in the next few years.


I also partifipate in spontaneous events (flash mobs sort of), like the "Frozen Grand Central" video you've probably seen on YouTube where people froze still for 5 minutes in a train station. We have a local group in Boston that does that sort of stuff.

Also recently I've been knocking off some once in a lifetime / bucket list type stuff. Within the past couple months I've piloted a helicopter and raced a Lamborghini in autocross. In September I'm racing in a NASCAR!

When my parents take me, i like to travel and see the world. I do a little sports. I also like making movies with Final Cut Pro and iMovie with my friends

I used to play sports and workout, can't do that now. I used to work on my cars (2009 IS-F, 2005 RSX-S, 1993 RX7, 1986 Corolla) and now I can't.
So now I just go to the range and shoot my guns as a hobbie. I guess reading is another hobby.

I like baking (which is frustrating on many levels). I used to like reading but I find I don't have the patience for it recently (perhaps that's just because I can't find a book I really like). I like learning stuff (I know a little bit about a lot of things). I just started a web design business...it was never really a hobby...more like a passing interest that turned into a business because people started asking me to do websites for them. I can't draw worth crap though so I farm out the graphics work while I do the code myself. I like politics but I wouldn't call that a hobby either...more like self interest and concern.

I'd like to write a book but whenever I start I think "I can't write a story." I'm good with generalities but specifics are hard for me. I'd also like to start doing some robotics but that takes a bit of money, especially if you aren't all that good at it.

I like to ride my bike outside and try to do tricks.

I have also started up parkour/free running, and I have to say, even though it is hard work, it is VERY fun.

I quite enjoy sailing - I'm very new to it and can hardly manoeuvre the sailboat and capsize every five minutes, it's great fun.

I've also got an interest in photography. I'm still relatively new, but I've taken control of my mom's old lenses from the 1980s, which still work on a modern day DSLR. I take pictures every now and then.

Piano is another one of my interests. I just finished my Grade 8 piano exam at the Royal Conservatory of Music, and passed with first class honours, which is a great achievement. I'm continuing onto Grade 9 next year and will be doing some composition as well, which I'm really looking forward to.

(I know this is an old thread, but I was just thinking of making one myself, did a search, and found there was one already. So instead of creating a new one, I'm reviving this old thread.)

One of my hobbies that I really enjoy is wine and mead making. Most of the wine I make is from kits, but the only thing really that is different is that someone else already pressed the grapes. Other than that, it's all the same as if I grew or bought the grapes, pressed them, and made the wine. But I do make many "country wines" also. These are made form fruit other than grapes. A couple that I really like are strawberry wine and blackberry port-style wine. And mead is made from honey instead of fruit. And it's much like grapes - many different varieties of honey, and each brings different features to the wine than other varieties do.

Post stuff on YouTube, write for fun, watch anime, read, enjoy trying out new types of food that is bad for me, and of course every night I plot to take over the world.   You know, normal stuff.

I enjoy reading and writing (I want to be a writer when I grow up!), and I also enjoy playing the piano and doing stuff with my family! My other hobbies are Doctor Who (really cool TV show!) and Astronomy.

Hobbies? Lots. Too many actually. I need days with 48 hrs. Let's see...

I used to play ultimate frisbee. Really hardcore. Competative, at international level. I hate to admit it, but I'm too old now. Can't layout hard anymore.

I love to cook. But everybody needs to prepare their food. Sort of a half-hobby I'd say.

Art. Yes. I do. A lot. Actually I believe in art. Anything you do is art, if you decide it is. Yes, I firmly believe in art. It makes this world a better place.

Music production. I still have to call this a hobby, but I did this as a hobby for like 30 years, and I decided I'll try to take it to a more pro level. NOW.

Sports, running, billiards, ping pong, reading, researching companies, and sleeping. Yes sleeping is a hobby. I do it everyday.

I like tennis and football and cycling, and they are sports.

I spend alot of time on my Computer.....perhaps too much time?
