I'd like to see half-implemented and promised features to become fully implemented, i.e. the skylands and red dragons.

More diverse crafting recipes would be good, as in the furniture idea, proper tables, chairs, benches, sofas, and then a proper 'sit' command so you can enjoy them. Also more decorative items, the paintings are nice, but how about rugs, vases or sculptures.

More weapons would be a little redundant, you have a ranged and close combat weapon. If they brought in more the only thing they could really change would be the damage, which you have enchantment to change, or the range at which the weapon hits, and if you did that then combat would be too easy.

The sheep dropping food would be more realistic, but to be honest, like the weapons it would be redundant. You already have 3 meat types that give you four hunger slots back, as well as mushroom stew and lamb would have to be the same. There is also bread, apples, fish, melon, cookies, and cake. There are plenty of food options. If more food were to be added I would like to see more food recipes. Making pies or other types of dishes, this would be more of a benefit to server play, as you could create different kinds of food shop, and give the gaming experience more immersion.

Perhaps adding one or two more mobs would be good, not sure what types, perhaps mummies for the desert and desert temple, or some kind of flying mob. Of course any extra mobs would have to drop some sort of unique item, and that then gives more options to different crafting recipes. So the game could certainly expand in that direction.

One other thing I would like to see, would be the ability to colour other blocks in addition to wool. It would be great to have coloured glass to create large window designs, or to dye stone etc, slightly different colours, so you retain the texture of the block for aesthetics, but can colour code your construction, rather on relying on one texture, wool, with multiple colours. Yes they have the different types of wood now, which is great, but there are a lot of other options still to be explored.

Cheers.

Chris.

I was thinking a similar think with being able to color blocks but I was thinking something more like being able to craft more thing with wooden planks like a solid wood that is plain until you paint it with dyes. This way you could have painted rooms and you don't have to use wool for walls and feel weird about it. Plus in my opinion wool is only good for trying to make a carpet or rug effect, other than that it's pretty much useless.

I don't know... I think you can "improve" something to death.  Until it no longer resembles the thing you fell in love with in the first place.
I say, leave it alone, it's perfect the way it is.

What you could find are battle axes which would be cool to make. I also think it would be nice if there were more item drops from mods like sheep.

Heres a Fun Fact:

Axes actually do the 2nd most damage out of any tool (excluding Harming Potions,Bows, and Fire).

Maybe things that will let you decorate houses with like tables and chairs. It would be cool to have things like carpets that don't register as blocks too.

Lorddecimator! Or is it Lorddecimater?

I was just thinking, that we've never really had to drink water...we just eat food.  Maybe there should be a thirst bar in a future update that you have to replenish with a canteen made of leather or iron, I think that would be a FANTASTIC update :)

I think they are adding way too much stuff recently! I kind of thought that they should stop adding so much stuff, but I like some things in the new update, like the trading and water lava dispensing. That and the tripwires are going to spice up Vech's maps a bit! (Although I usually die right when I spawn in anyways... XD) The enchantments and tomes are nice, but they shouldn't have changed the crafting recipes. The adding experience for mining and smelting is a little bit overboard, too. But along with that, I think that they need flying mobs! Parrots, dragons, hawks, songbirds.... wouldn't that be nice?

This. MInecraft is built on the K.I.S.S. principle. The problem isn't thinking of things to add, its having the discipline to leave out the things that don't add anything worthwhile.
1. Don't dig straight down
2. Use the search function
3. Remember the K.I.S.S. principle
4. Click the 'Like' button, don't post 'me too'.
