What is the best enchantment you've ever gotten? What level did you enchant with? What did you enchant?

I was on a server where u dont loose exp when enchanting. After a ton of tries i got a Diamond Sword Sharp 5 fire 2 Loot 3

- Smite V
- Knockback II
- Fire Aspect II
- Looting III

Smite is horrible. Sharpness is the thing man!
Anyways, Sharp V, Fire II. Knockback isn't helpful; to me it is actually negative.

i enchanted a diamond sword, level 5 enchantment, and got Fire Aspect 1 and Sharpness 2. I don't need a furnace anymore

I think it was something like 5 exp that it cost me and I got (with a bow) Power II and Punch I

That's not the best I've gotten, it's just the best exp - enchantment level  enchantment I've got.

I have had a bane of anthropodis II, Sharpness IIII and fire aspect I. This was on a creative server that had some Survival PVPing arenas. I think it was an iron sword if I am not mistaken.

I like getting Fire Aspect II Sharpness IV on swords.  Sometimes looting II or III as a bonus.  It's awesome.  But if I'm going for a sword with knockback, its the same thing but with knockback II.  Those are my favorite enchantments.  In my opinion they are probably the best thing to get on a sword.

Its impossible to get sharpness 5 on swords without mods.  4 is the best which is still really good.

I enchanted a bow at lvl 30 and received Flame I, Infinity I and Punch II. I've not used it yet, since it's now my "Anti Enderdragon" bow.

Actually you can still get Sharpness V without mods, but only on Gold swords.

wow... I don't really know! I've enchanted so much gear since the Enchanting Table came out...
I think my best enchantment was a pick with Unbreaking III, Efficiency III, and Fortune III... Yeah, that had to be it, and it was one of my first enchantments too.
