Hello all! I'm writing this topic to ask - why have you come to the Punchwood community and what are you excited about?

Personally, I like the idea of a community based on families playing Minecraft. I'd like to see how the community develops and how it can show that it isn't just like other Minecraft communities. How about you?

Currently, I'd like you all to pay attention to what lies in my signature, maybe follow some links, maybe not. I'm here mainly for the community. As such, a fellow Soarvivor has started a Community Survival Map. The way it's set up is that you edit separate chunks and then upload them. The lead will then download them all, and edit them into a map. I think it's a great way to utilize many creative minds and still come up with one map.

It's a great opportunity for you to get your thoughts out in Creative Minecraft.

I didn't come here to make a map, but I'm so happy to be a part of it. I didn't come here to promote my channel, or my Twitter. Anything else is extra, community first.

To be honest, I came here to just get on the server. Until a few days here, then I started loving the community. That's when I really didn't care as much about the server. The chat room is an amazing place to be and the forums are a great place to discuss and let everyone know what's on your mind.

I came here to meet the other Paul fans out there, and to chat about MC on the forums and other things. I of course wanted to be on the server, so I tried, but was not selected. I am very happy with this here community. Everyone is so nice here. Its so enjoyable.

when i first came to punchwood, it was right after watching paul's mc dad vid on it. i'll admit, i tried it because i reciently started watching Paul's vids and was hoping to get on the mcd server. when i missed both rounds i was disappionted, because i didnt know that you could be handpicked, but i descided to stay and see how good punchwood was. i almost immmediately loved the forum, teh topics were great, it was family-friendly, and the community, i cant describe in words how i feel about it. its better than the best thing ever!

i when i had heard about the handpicking i wasnt sure i'd be able to get whitelisted, so i descided to just be myself, and if i wasn't picked it wouldn't be the end of the world. but lo and behold, after 2 months of making friends and having a great time i was picked.

the 'moral of the story', be patient, be yourself, and just have fun! its great to be here, so don't be mopey about not being a mcd member.

A friendly forum, meet new people, and yeah. Going to the server was kind of a Plan B for me. I came here due to a friend telling me to join, and i did and i met all these great people who share a common interest with me :3

Like Paul, I really don't get the comment system on youtube -- it's really annoying. So I was very glad he announced he's gonna create an own forum for discussing his videos. As he announced there will be a community server, I was really excited. So it was a nobrainer for me to register and apply because I wanted to get on the server.

Two months down the road now, I made a bunch of friends here, and I like most of the community in general, (not every aspect, but most of it). It's more about the punchwood community for me now. Sure, I still would love to get on the server, but I also may just play single player MC as I did all the time before. But this community and some people I like is what makes me come here.

So, this is what I want here: Communication with friends.
