I mentioned in one of the comments of his videos about the door glitch. Basically he crawled through a doorway sideways and that caused his body to clip into the wall, which caused bleeding and shock, which he didn't realize untill about 1k bloodloss. The solution to this is to go through the doorways straight through, without turning your shoulders, and to be crouching, rather than crawling.
Anytime I'm shaking I check for the +drop to see if I'm bleeding first. Also to be patient with the bandaging animation. Sometimes I'd minimize the gear screen only to notice later that the bandaging animation was interrupted and I lost another 1k blood.
I'd like to make a note about inventory management though. If you have empty secondary slots (where the handguns, bandages go) it's far better to have them in there than in your backpack. I've seen a lot of youtubers make this mistake. They'll have 1 clip of ak74 ammo in primary with 2 or even 3 slots empty, but have 2 more ak74 ammo in the backpack. Meanwhile 2 slots of painkillers in primary, and 3 bandages in backpack, with nothing in the sidearm slots (where they could be quickly accessed). I make it a point to arrange the inventory as best as I can, so that when the essentials come up, it'll go right where it can be used at a moments notice.
I've also seen many people taking wood piles (they take up 2 slots of space regardless of pack, or primary inventory space) when they don't even have matches. The hatchets can be used to collect unlimited wood piles in the forest. I haven't picked up a wood pile since I've learned how to harvest wood with the hatchet (right click on it when you are standing next to a tree in the forest). The annoying part is that the map has to consider that area a forest, rather than some tree standing next to the roadside.
On the subject of "why can't I loot this?!" there are times when you hit G for gear when you want to loot a cartire, or a backpack, but it only shows the roadflares or tincans around it. The solution to that is to collect those items you do see, and place them elsewhere. Then when the desired item is the only thing left in the loot pile, you should be able to pick it up. with the packs, you have to mousewheel scroll and select "take this pack." Keep in mind your old one will drop to the floor, and you'll have to open it up via the mousewheel, then open your new pack, and transfer the items. It seems a bit unwieldy, but I've found that it works, so you don't lose all that good stuff just for a slightly larger bag, due to not knowing.
I hope this helps someone out.

Hopefully paul sees this link for his next run http://picacid.com/arma2/loot_en.html. Loot tables so he knows where to look for what, he did have some truly rotten luck searching for a drink though! On this note it is a shame we couldn't have a punchwood community cache to share resources, but alas outside people would read this forum and just troll it into pointlessness.

I think he is having fun but I do think that because of the mature nature of the game he's more relaxed knowing he isn't creating content for a younger audience so he doesn't have to be nice all the time, or happy all the time. In Minecraft when something goes badly wrong he laughs it off and says "darn" or something like that as he has a young audience to think about. Yet in DayZ when something goes wrong you get hear that he is actually quite annoyed, not to the point of bad language typically but he's not having to worry so much as children shouldn't be watching the video. So in that regard it may sound like he's not enjoying it, but I think overall we are just seeing a more raw grown up side to Paul one that is perhaps closer to who he is when not recording. Now I'm not saying he's fake or acting when he's recording, but it's certainly very very controlled especially in the safe for kids content and I struggle to believe he's like that 24/7, if he is the man is like Ned Flanders from the Simpsons an absolute Saint lol.

Once it starts picking up, with Paul's narration... it will get downright awesome.
I would stop showing everything, especially since the videos are so short, cut out the running through the woods and other such things in order to keep it more interesting... or just make the videos at the minimum 25-30 minutes long. You can't do much in 15 minutes on DayZ.
