I think DayZ has so much potential and i'm glad you're doing this series so I can keep up with it. I feel like it's a little too early in for me to want to throw down the $30 for it right now, but if the updates keep coming and they prove to be worth it, i'm totally gonna get it eventually.

Wow.  Looks like a really cool mod! And it's pretty suspenseful too!  My only 'issue' with it is that I don't know anything about Arma II or the DayZ mod.  Yet, I do understand that getting caught by zombies is a bad idea!

Yeah the mod works on several levels depending on how experienced you are as a survivor. When you start out the zombies are your biggest threat with dying to thirst and hunger a close second. Though as you get better you soon realise that zombies are just an inconvenience and that other survivors are your biggest threat and that is a unique concept in a zombie game, normally the zombies start as the threat and stay that way in this they do eventually take a back seat and that's pretty cool.

Great video, Paul. As a challenge I think you should try to find another survivor in a server that you'll try to help as long as possible. But he/she must have a headset so you can communicate in direct channel.
I know you've lost a bit of your trust for people in this game. But I think that if you find a person in need and that you communicate with verbally they'll have a hard time crossing you. I know I would.

Had a encounter like that myself. I had just found and Lee Enfield rifle but no bullets when another survivor burst in the same shed as me. As a reflex I raised my gun but without bullets it just clicked. The guy was new to the game and we ended up tagging along for awhile.

With the new start that you don't have a gun to begin with everyone is scared in the beginning and have a incentive to team up.

Not sure if you filmed more yet but you could try the church in elektro, can be quite a lot of stuff in there like food, drinks and ammo.

I like the look of DayZ it looks a great game to play
Ill probably wait for some of those frequent bugs to be got rid of until I get it myself
I really like your strategies, sometime the "sneaky" way of observation, planning and avoidance is better than running in guns blazing (Reloading in that situation can be fateful)
Paul along with some other Youtubers have got me very interested in this game
Maybe Ill see some people on it sometime soon.

I think you need to die a lot right now Paul... get out there and find out what the 2 bars, 3 bars, full bars on the eyes and ears actually mean.
Go out and die a lot if you have to, so you can come back with more information in your videos, especially after a new patch.
The videos are great, you can narrate with the best of them no doubt. Maybe we can get some series or just a few videos of you being risky and pushing your character to limits of each part of the game. That would make for awesome content to watch, IMHO.
I like your videos, as much as anyone but definitely need some more excitement or so... possibly make the videos 20-25 minutes long, because you can't do much in 15-20, those extra few minutes would definitely be useful to have.
I have a lot of opinions but only you know where you are going with this and what you want to do, just keep making videos period lol.

Hey Paul, the new series looks great, can't wait for more. You should keep making the vids around 20mins of lenghts and keep talking. What server do you play on, I'd love to meet up with you on dayz, maybe do a little bit of trading (Not to kill you and loot you) . I'm currently in the outskirts of a town called Pustoshka on the west side of the map. I got some decent gear and supplies. If you want to know any tricks or tips i'd be glad to help.

You can store stuff in tents if you have a large flat area to put it on, it's realy useful if you wanna set up your own private camp but you'd better hide it well because people can still loot it. I set up my own camp in the middle of the woods near a pond no where near anything, if I need water its there, if i need to make a fire I got wood and if I need more there are trees I can cut down with my hatchet and since im next to a pond animals have a bit higher spawn rate so i also got source of food.

Tents stay on the server they're placed on though, they don't follow you from server to server like your character does.
