[minecraft spartan]

I have Rome, Medeival 2, Empire, and Napoleon but I've only played the first two. Rome is my favorite by far. Fingers crossed for Rome 2!

I have all of them but the first two (Shogun and medieval), and i've played all of them. My favorite would be Rome, but the italian version crashed after about 40 turns. so sad! so my fav is shogun 2!

I own nearly all of them, except for the original Shogun, and all of the expansion packs except for M1 and M2. Its hard to pick a favourite, especially with all the mods around, but Id say my favourite would be either M2 or ETW/NTW (I consider them to be pretty much the same game with slight changes). Rome is of course a classic, but the vanilla game is so unbalanced and the AI so moronic that it gets boring without mods really quick. Shogun on the other hand, never really played it that much, computer barely managed to run it.

Anyway, I miss the option of executing your prisoners mid-battle.

Can anyone help me my shogun 2 fall of the smurai dosnt work it chrashes after a short time its the limited edtion and shogun 2 worked fine and still works

well atlest they put the speaches back in in shogun 2

Although I did love the "...SnakeSNAKESNAKESNAAAAAAKE" speach in M2.

No, not after the battle. I recall that in...Either M1 or Rome you could execute the prisoners you had obtained mid-battle in order to lower the enemy moral. Yeah, it was in M1, now that I think about it. Most of the members here are way younger than that game, so I dont blame them for not playing it.

I was cleaning my room the other day and I found "Shogun: Total war" copy. Didn't even know that I had it. Don't know if it still works put I'm gonna try.

I loved Rome: Total war.  The problem was that the AI was an embarrassment, even on VH/VH.  I'm hoping for a Rome 2 with AI's that have the IQ of a zombie.  XD

i had rome, but i lost it so i never played it. I have empire: total war and ove it. I dont know the difference between empire and nepolean, other than empire total war's campaign was better *opinion* I can not wait for Rome: total war 2!

How can you say that Empire had a better campaign than Napoleon without knowing the difference between the games?

I like Third Age, a Lord of the Rings mod for Medieval 2.  Looking forward to Rome 2 though, although I suspect I may have to invest in a new computer to take advantage of it.

I have medieval total war and the kingdoms expansion, and I bought a copy of rome total war but it was second hand and the disc was broken

My two favorites are, and the two I have, are Empire:Total War and Napoleon: Total War.

Out of those two, Napoleon is my favorite. Cannons are incredibly powerful against both infantry and cavalry, and actually stagger infantry when they blow holes in the line. Also, I find that the game is really balanced. Even when your outnumbered you still have a chance. (I've held off a large Spanish force in Gibraltor, by hiding my forces in buildings. I was still defeated, but I won if you looked at the casaulty report.) Also, cavalry can wreck and collapse an entire line, IF you can hit the flank. If they charge into the front, good chance they are getting shot to bits.

I'm waiting for Rome II total war, but Rome was my favorite.
